280!? My goodness.... you play football in college ?Ā

I was like 240 in 2001 playing in Golden State Amateur Football league. Blew my knee out @ Kezar Stadium in playoffs. Complete dislocation. Was in cast for almost a year and wheel chair for 6 months. So I started lifting heavy from that point on since I couldnā€™t play any sports anymore.Ā

I never wouldā€™ve put so much mass on if I could go back in time. I started lifting heavy after bad leg injury and couldnā€™t run any longer. Stay lean and mean would be my advice.Ā

Iā€™m going to try to stay lean as I get stronger. I just feel I have some sort of obligation to break a world record, otherwise itā€™s all for nothing.

Do you think I have to juice up and gain many inches in height to be able to break Kirill Sarychevā€™s raw bench record one day?Ā

Iā€™m only 5ā€™8ā€ ish, it seems all the strongest men are at least 6ā€™0ā€

Not all of the great one's are 6'0" in fact maybe the best powerlifter of all time is about your size. Ed Coan.
