Anaheim (Calif.) Servite ’22 quarterbackNoah Fifita is a baller. He may only be 5-10 but he can play and there is something special about him. He’s a winner and carries himself in a way that gives confidence to everyone he plays with. He was slinging it all weekend and definitely has the clutch gene you love to see in a quarterback. He flashed a quick release, was accurate to all three levels of the field and should be a lot of fun to watch for the Friars this fall.

Anaheim (Calif.) Servite ’22 wide out Tetairoa McMillan was very impressive all weekend and has a big upside. He looks all of 6-3 with an athletic body and is a natural pass catcher. He has high level body control and as he continues to get stronger and fill out even more, he has a chance to be very special. Two-sport athlete who also plays on the basketball team, there is a lot to like about this kid.

Last year, Calabasas (Calif.) wide out Johnny Wilson was the top receiver in the event until separating his shoulder on day two. This year, he played with a different team from another state and tried to get in to the offense that he wasn’t familiar with but still showed why he’s among the nation’s best pass catchers. Wilson runs very well for a 6-6 pass catcher, has excellent hands and is a tough red zone matchup. Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, UCLA and Washington are his current top five.

Anaheim (Calif.) Servite '21 athlete Noah Avinger is a player who can play on both sides of the ball but impressed us in the secondary. He's a smooth, athletic corner with very good cover skills. He has great feet, plays with advanced technique and was one of the few corners we saw able to consistently cover without having to clutch and grab. He has an athletic build, is very fluid in his movement and just looks the part of a next level prospect.

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco wide out Logan Loya was easily among the toughest covers in the event. His ability to create separation is incredible advanced and no one runs cleaner routes. He has deceptive speed and can beat a corner over the top and his hands are as good as you’ll see as well. He was his teams main weapon and faced a ton of bracket coverage and was still able to get open with ease. Arizona State, Oregon State, Oregon, Nebraska and Washington State are just a few schools making a big push for Loya right now.

Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon ’21 athlete D.J. Harvey is an impressive looking player on both sides of the ball but worked out primarily at corner this weekend. He has everything you’re looking for in a next level corner including a solid frame, short area quickness, solid top end speed and very good ball skills. It’s easy to see why schools like Nebraska, Oregon, LSU and Southern Miss have already offered.

Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne athlete Seven McGee showed why he has been a national recruit since his freshman season. He’s very quick and explosive with the ball in his hands, does a great job getting open and finding the soft spots in the defense and was the go to receiver while playing for a new team, Phase 1 702 Elite out of Las Vegas. He looks bigger physically as well and the added strength should allow him to play both running back and receiver this fall. McGee is solid in his commitment to Oregon.

Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany '21 quarterback Miller Moss was easily among the most talented signal callers we saw. We love the way Moss throws the football and he was one of the most accurate passers in the event. He showed great touch on the deep balls and throws the posts and outs on a rope. Moss said he plans to visit Colorado, Auburn and Duke this spring and has already checked out Cal, UCLA and USC.

We have been hearing a ton of buzz lately about quarterback Kadin Semonza, who’s still in the 8th grade but will play at Mission Viejo (Calif.) next fall. After seeing him over the weekend, it’s easy to see why. Semonza led his Real Speed Zoom squad, comprised mainly of freshmen/sophomores, to the quarterfinals. He has a live, accurate arm, very polished and one of the more advanced young quarterbacks we have seen coming in to the HS ranks.

A freshman quarterback to keep an eye on is Rancho Verde (Calif.) signal caller AJ Duffy. Duffy picked up an offer from Florida State earlier today and it won’t surprise us if he hits double digits by the end of the summer. He has grown a few inches in the last year and is a solid 6-1, very solid mechanically with a tight release and live, accurate arm. Nevada has also offered.

Norco (Calif.) quarterback Shane Illingworth told us Arkansas is recruiting him hardest he plans to visit for the Spring Game. The Razorbacks have been a constant in his recruitment and are a major player in his recruitment. Washington State is another school making a big push and the quarterback said he plans to take multiple visits to Pullman this Spring. Oregon State is also involved and will get a visit and Oregon and Washington could get visits as well.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei sophomore athlete Kyron Ware-Hudson is a very intriguing kid and projects as a next level player on both sides of the ball. He’s a solid 6-1, 205 pounds but has the frame to grow in to a 6-2, 225 pound athlete by the time he’s a senior. He has excellent ball skills at receiver and uses his strength to bully opposing corners. He also has the ability to project at safety or outside linebacker and has tremendous upside. Oregon, where his older brother Keyon Ware-Hudsonsigned in December, has offered.

The new Santa Marijauna coach needs to recruit him ASAP. There's a lot of competition preventing him from starting until his junior year at St. Mission Viejo.
