Speaking of Trinity....The Trinity league finished their non  league games going 28-2.   Their Best non league record ever

but no shoutout?

They of course deserve recognition .... was definitely going to include them if SM beat MV. Lets see how the other Trinity teams play md and sjb with league games coming up....

ISB is suffering from these games being so early in the season. They hyper improve.

I feel like they could keep Grayson in check if the game was played on week 11.

Not out of the realm.

IMO, this game was necessary for Grayson to prepare for their game @ Archer on the 13th of next month. A stiff OOS test from a Broward Co. FL school.

Orange Lutheran played Heritage

Servite played Garfield

J Serra played Los Alamitos

cant give them a shout out when half the league plays cans.

Heritage and Los Al aren't STA and BG, but they aren't complete doormats either. Both will make D2 playoffs and I wouldn't be surprised to see Heritage making a deep run.

I got no excuse for Garfield though.

Winners

Sjb QB DJ Uiagalelei - down 10 in fourth led sjb on 2 td drives to beat sjc on the road 21-17 in comeback victory. Re al might be reduced to WR role going forward .... esp against mater dei. Future bright with this kid in 18 and 19 for Negro.

Washington DC Catholic League - very stout this year.  McDonough (Not McDonald's to some on here - played dematha close) OLGC (just beat bishop Sullivan) and gonzaga (only loss to good Viera squad) all not pushovers. Dematha  and SJC both tier 1 teams despite not closing the deal against elite teams but league has great depth.

American Heritage - completely dismantled a talented chaminade madonna team on espn. The best cornerback tandem duo in the country led by Surtain JR. And Tyson Campbell make them a shut down defense.

Saint Peters prep - said to myself before the seton Hall prep game if they won by 21+ (won by 23) that would solidify them as solid tier 2 team and as of now clear number 1 team in nj. Sjp game slipped away but have the talent to run the table imo. SHP lost to Paramus Catholic in OT and was in tight game with Bosco in 4th Q.

St. Xavier - rolled to 5-0 with decisive win against Archbishop Moeller. Moeller qb went down but X beat moeller on the road by bigger margin than Trinity*

Losers

East Utah - escaped 14-10 against a 1-4 (now 1-5) Harriman team who helix and bingham both took to the woodshed. IMG still looms on schedule..... might want to make a phone call to the bingham miners see if they want to swap games that week.

Bishop Sullivan - blanked by our lady good counsel. Excellent SOS but not winning at 2-3 now. Colquitt matchup big for both teams this week.

Don Bosco Prep - getting redundant but ironmen have issues. Depaul looked way more athletic and bosco offense looks like it's in slow motion w/ simple handoffs. Sadly, The at one time most respected national program in the maxpreps  era is a shell of its former self.

SJC - always a bridesmaid never a bride. Scary how they Could easily be undefeated with that absurd schedule. Let two games slip away ....

Bradenton FL weather - img ever play a game w/o a weather delay?

I'm sure I forgot a team or 2 in both so feel free to comment.....

BC not a winner?? Got off a 2 game losing streak. Didnt look good by any means but dug deep and finished the game

Nothing but a mediocre 2-2 team and SPP should have won by the amount they won by.

Spp handily beat SHP while bosco struggled with them and also SHP took PC to OT.

Spp a pretty damn good team. Spp and sjr two best teams in nj imo. Sjr getting some help on offense soon to when sharkey back this week or next after sitting out 30 days.

why not??

Don't deserve it. PC not that good imo (worst team in bnu probably) and can't get over the A Wood debacle.

MD was going to roll them and that's understandable but should be 3-1 right now.

Sjp handled A wood. BC actually took it to sjp in a game scrimmage in philly this summer but that doesn't count. BC won 2 or 3 scores to zero. Where's that BC team? Where's that BC defense that held sjp scoreless for 3 quarters against the hawks 1s?

wouldnt be surprised if BC beats SJR. SJR weakness is in their secondary. JL has to control the ball not turn the ball over 3 times and if your Nunzio you have to throw the ball. Running the ball like they did against PC will not be that effective. I expect to see PA passes and rolling JL out of the pocket. This should be a game where JL has to probably throw the ball 30 times and stretch the field. A kid like Classi has to be big

Weres a solid defense been since Nunzio was hired?? BC defense was better against PC FWIW. Baptiste had a nice sack and Corbin had 2 INT.

PC not that good though. Baptiste is a player I'll tell you that. When he fills out in college .... look out. Corbin nice player as well.
