IMG would beat 99.9% of the teams by 20 or more. Plus, didn't Cen10's QB go down early in that game? I'd they've recovered nicely based on their thrashing of a solid Narbonne team. Who are the 10 or 20 schools that actually beat Cen10?

I'm not being unreasonable with Centennial. For instance if you look at the HSFB America poll Centennial is ranked as the #19 team in that algorithm. And IMO that algorithm is the platinum standard.

Problem with algorithms is they can't take into account a team playing 3 1/2 quarters with no QB.Just imagine BG playing anyone of their first 4 games with a kid who never practiced at QB.

RE: #8 Corona Centennial how can they be ranked so highly?

1) They only scheduled one risk game this year.

2) They lost that game.

3) The rest of their regular season schedule is garbage and should weigh them down. Out of the top ten.

4) If they beat SJB or MD in the playoffs then they should move back into the top 10-15 range. If they beat both of those teams they will have earned a top 1-10 ranking.

Until then they have not proven themselves.

Dear poster,

Cen10 benefits from the Johnny Stanton Rule in reverse.

They lost when their QB was injured.  They are undefeated with their #1 QB, so they are to be considered #undefeated

Thank you for your understanding.

That's the worst nationally recognized poll -- it's the only one that named CQ MNC in '15

it also assumes a full strength CC lost by 3 TDs to IMG instead of a converted WR who hadn't even practiced the position in position to lead CC for the fonahead score with minutes left before IMG got 2 scores late

if IMG plays CC today, 5 dimes would have CC as favorite since McKee is back

With no QB? Im pretty sure someone was back there... and are you saying their 2nd string QB never practiced? Bc he was in there for a bit.

No its not the only one... PrepForce did also. It being the worst one bc you dont agree with its 2015 MNC , is pure hilarity. You are clueless in the national sce e.

Its gaining steam and is one many pay attention to.

How many times was CalPreps the only one that named DLS MNC? That poll is garbage. At least some people try to control their homerness.

Colquitt was 1 or 2 in multiple polls in '15.

Cen10 would not be favored, absolute nonsense. IMG is #2 most everywhere.

Yeah because if it gets close img will try to injury the starting qb and backup qb again

Thier playing a 1-21 football team this week... there's no sos .,, u cannot reward this behavior

So, you're saying every top 10 team can't have one or two breathers on their schedule? Well, that makes complete sense. I'm going to go ahead and edit my rankings. I'm removing Mater Dei from the top 10 because they played LaMirada and St. John Bosco for playing Dorsey and Garces.

I'll take care of that later this morning....
