TheRealCAJ
Two of Rummel's finest doing good things at FCS Nicholls St over in Thibodaux, La......Nicholls St put a scare in Georgia last year.. Pretty sure Nicholls St would crush Rutgers. Anyways..... QB Chase Fourcade threw for 270 yds and 1 TD (Roth should have let him throw vs Don Bosco) WR Damion Jeanpiere Jr. hauled in 5 passes for 174 yds

Pretty much. You blow a 34 point lead and don't prepare for an FCS opponent your future is probably pretty dim.......his seat was already on fire, forget the hot. That said.....these FCS teams have come along way and you can't take a lot of them lightly.
Nolebull813
Gonna be a long season in the SEC. they would need some big upsets and a big streak for him to stay. I'm thinking at least 9 wins before the bowl

Texasball
At the end of the day Texas A&M like Georgia last year playing the same team was going thru the motions.
Texasball
Georgia only beat them 26-24 last year. Yet Nichols state finished 4th in the Southland and 5-6 on the year. Like the ole ball coach said today. These games are worthless. If Georgia or Texas A&M played this game with meaning and motivated the game would be blowout. TheRealCAJ
Some of these FCS schools are probably better than Kansas, Iowa St, Rutgers and etc... Just because it doesn't mean anything is no excuse. Texas A&M played their starters 4 quarters in front of their fans (over 100,000).... Texasball
66-17 Sam Houston State over Nicholls State ---How did this happen? Did them Rummel boys play in this game?

Did them Rummel boys play in this game? They were all over the field. Problem was that prep coaching they got didn't prepare them to be in the position to make plays. Suprised Cajun overlooked this game and forgot to make a thread about it.
