westbankeagle Posted September 9, 2017 Report Share Posted September 9, 2017 I think only 2 D1 teams could beat Curtis this year and that is Evangel and Rummel, though Rummel would be one of those x out of 10 teams they can beat them type situations. Just because they have a nice new offense doesn't mean it will work against an aggressive front 7 and good DBs like Rummel will see with no other teams. Evangel had the question marks at offense this year not defense but they have a system so it's a lot easier to fill in those spots. Grayson had the size but was not effective up front until they went with quicker DL against Curtis. Evangel DL smaller but much quicker and stronger at point of attack than Grayson DL. West Monroe beat some random Oklahoma team, but besides that, what can they hang their hat on? ESL? Gulfport? Lol.
