Only Doc Davis, who won 5 state titles in 12 years from 1991-2002 reversed the trend, and even his 2005 team gagged one away to Gaffney in spectacular fashion (fumbling a kneel-down). Yes, BS was lucky, but you don't go 13-1 with their schedule without serious ability. They had 4 turnovers in the first half, but they have good talent on offense. They have a real defense, almost never out of position and good speed. They are well-coached. Will the stage be too big for them (first title game) or will they be the '69 Mets? They may lose, but I bet they will play well and would not be stunned if they won.
