Stone Bridge had taken the lead with a touchdown and two-point conversion with 1:22 remaining, but a long kickoff return put HS in position for the winning score. Great clash between Stone Bridge's grind-it-out running game and Highland Springs's big play offense. 3A: Blacksburg 28 Staunton River 20--Blacksburg bottles up Staunton River's high-powered offense to in the second half. OS got a touchdown and two-point conversion with six seconds left. Salem with a last-minute touchdown edged Dinwiddie 31-27.
