Called his own plays? Like what? 1960s football was like a rotary phone. In 1967, the Packers were second-to-last in pass attempts (16 teams), 11th in TD passes, 11th in passing yards and led the league in interception percentage. When it is for the NFL championship and Lombardi called another play after a timeout, I do not know if it is hard, but you damn well better score. if they allowed the grabbing and holding now that they did then, completion percentages would drop 10% in the league, and passing would not be the cakewalk it is now. Different rules for different eras Yup was inching up each year prior to the ‘21. I got to about 75 then looked at 78-79. Starr I think was quite high, about 4th? I’ll use through 1979 and share.
