It's not just that it's the 0* and 2* players from Louisiana doing big things in the NFL along with the 3* players.

WR Justin Jefferson, a 2*

RB Eli Mitchel, a 0*

Really??

Louisiana is NFL ready!

Below are LA's players from the ESPN 300.   CA and FL would be hard-pressed to say their offensive players form a more balanced and talented group.  Add some LB's and that's one heck of a team.

And all 3 WR's are committed to Alabama.

LA Offense

#27 Walker Howard QB

#45 Leveon Moss RB

#196 Trevor Etienne RB

#204 Trevonte Citizen RB

#15 Shazz Preston WR

#88 Aaron Anderson WR

#118 Kendrick Law WR

#17 Will Campbell OT

#226 Emory Jones OG

#292 Bo Bordelon OT

LA Defense

#165 J'mond Tapp DE (240 lbs)

#198 Quency Wiggins DE (260 lbs)

#203 Walter Bob DE (245 lbs)

#47 Jacory Matthews DB

#101 Laterrance Welch DB

#205 Austin Ausberry DB

Added college (bolded)......

Need some LBs?-not ESPN 300 guys, but

Javae Gilmore is a Mississippi State commit

https://247sports.com/Player/Javae-Gilmore-46058848/

Kailep Edwards is a Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajun commit

https://247sports.com/Player/Kailep-Edwards-46085819/

Kailep Edwards is no joke, had Penn St, Michigan St, Mississippi St, Tennessee and etc offers.

Photo Kailep Edwards. People really should not laugh at Ragin' Cajun commits. Top 25 team again this year.

Would not be surprised if LB Kailep Edwards flips to the Florida Gator and follows Billy Napier when all the smoke has cleared.

"West St. John linebacker Kailep Edwards tells 247Sports he has committed to Billy Napier and the University of Louisiana."

How many states have at least starter on every college football playoff team this year?

I don't know, but Louisiana has starters on 3 of the teams.

Georgia is the only state that has a current starter (per depth charts) on each of the 4 Playoff teams.  UGA and Cinci have a lot of homegrown starters.

I can name all the Delaware players and have watched them all play in high school (many of them earlier than high school) in person.

Actually these numbers were taken as of kick-off Sept 2021.  Delaware has had a couple call ups from practice squad so they are at 8 or 9 now. Of them 7 are contributing starters..

Chris Godwin WR Middletown High - Tampa Bay

Darnell Savage DB Caravel Academy- Green Bay (#1 pick for GB)

Troy Reeder MLB Salesianum- LA Rams

Brian O'Neil OT Salesianum- Minnesota

Duron Harmon DB Caesar Rodney High- Atlanta

Angelo Blackson DT Red Lion Christian Academy- Chicago

Bilal Nichols DT Hodgson Vo Tech-Chicago

Brandon Ruznak(Watson) DB/ST  Red Lion Christian Academy/ECA- Jacksonville

Davis Sills V WR Red Lion Christian Academy/ECA- NY Giants (not sure if he is still up or back on PS)
