Had to Google that one to believe it... Steelers did sign him, but he didn't make the roster. At least he got a few shots as the Raiders had a look also (tryout). I don’t lie 😉 The way I see it, if an NFL team gave a guy a contract and a paycheck to be a member of their team for several months, they were in the NFL. It’s still quite an accomplishment and indicative of talent. Mike Tomlin isn’t wasting time and signing scrubs, even on the practice squad. Good kid, Eagle Scout. He spent at least several months on the payroll. I don’t recall exactly but I recall him being “on the team” for a full season. DLS’s best QB for nearly the last two decades. I'm sure he's doing well with his goal(s) post football (academic focus). An STA QB Jake Rudock attended Iowa/Michigan and had a backup stint in the NFL that lasted longer than he probably expected nor I. His goal was to be a pediatric surgeon I believe and I'm hoping he's working towards that goal currently.
GoBigBlack
Eagle Scouts, pediatricians… always love hearing that. Now matter how you slice it, football is still just a game.

I remembered he was around a while, definitely didn’t remember him playing in the preseason and throwing a game-winning touchdown. And there’s absolutely no shame in getting beaten out by Josh Dobbs.
