It's back to the back for A&M this year. lol Haynes King from Longview ain't ready and neither are those are other cats. QUARTERBACK Haynes King, second year (four star) OR Zach Calzada, third year (three star) Eli Stowers, first year (four star) King is still considered the favorite to win the job but he didn't necessarily separate himself from Calzada coming out of the spring game. Both have promise for different reasons (King's leadership and athleticism, Calzada's delivery) but have elements of their games they need to work on. They return their top two RBs and top three pass catchers. Their defense also returns 9 starters from a defense that ranked #1 in the SEC in yards per game. And Kellen Mond stunk. Haynes King stinks too but it doesn't matter. Jimbo is a master at making bad QBs look good. He convinced at least two GMs that EJ Manuel and Christian Ponder were 1st round picks.
