The thing that threw me off was the location...

IMG is in Bradenton near the beach close to plenty of scenic places and malls,etertainment,etc....

Findley Prep was close to Vegas...

The NJ schools are close to NYC

This school was going to open up in a small rural town in Metro Birmingham....

Not even Mobile...

Or Huntsville....

Not even a Good part of Birmingham.... .

A rural small town in Metro Birmingham...

That alone threw me for a loop...

If I'm going to open a private IMG style academy I'm gonna open it somewhere that has something going for it...

Yet he got 80+ kids from all over America to commit. Players from CA, TX, FL, GA, OH, etc were all secured. He also got a top STA coach to resign and join his cause. Not to mention high-profile figures like Rush and K-Wat to buy-in. The guy was Jimmy Swaggart-good!

Yea well now he's about to be Swaging his way to prison...

Wouldn't be surprised if the people who bought in turn around and sue him...

But it would also be their fault for not jumping ship sooner.

There's no way I wouldn't be on this man every day about opening this school...

You got kids,Coaches and teachers waiting and then you turn around and it's all turns out to be a great big lie...

This leads me to believe 2 things.

1. This was more than Dusty was prepared for and he let it all go and get out of hand

2. It was a scam from the start.

Because tbh 92K starting up a school doesn't sound like much...

The FSU student athletes relations person now.

But, yeah. I never could figure how so many folks bought into that garbage.

We tired to tell them. When he started say he could build the school, the stadiums, offices, practice fields and baseball stadium in 4-5 months he was full of it.

His plan was to rent at Alabama State until the planned facilities were complete. He supposedly had signed a one year lease with ASU.

That didn't become the plan until keen eyed people here called him out on his construction timelines.

That really should have been one of the points where you started listening to your comrades here over That conman there. All you care(d) about is your private school taking over the world agenda so you ignored all of us and sold that guys bullshit for months.
