A full 16 team Division I playoff bracket would certainly be far more competitive... 1. Sierra Canyon 2. Servite 3. Long Beach Poly 4. Los Al 5. San Clemente 6. Mission Viejo 7. Centennial 8. I’m not referring to 2021 Servite in as much as the overall direction things are taking. Take off your MD glasses and look. You are not being sincere if you don’t see a problem. Servite is probably the 2021 next best team - but in 2022 they drop off a lot comparatively so the gap widens further. Pro and college sports can try and regulate this from happening via salary caps and scholarships. In high school there are zero stop gaps.
