RedZone thinks that basic common sense statements like this are "silly."

It hurts his argument because St Aug is ranked much higher nationally than STA. So it would only be impressive if St Aug beat Curtis WORSE than Aquinas did.

He thinks #146 St Aug squeaking out a one point win is the exact equal of #312 dominating by two touchdowns.

its hard to argue with people who possess these views

Face the fact that having nolescum813 as an ally just makes you look stupid.

It makes you post some of the silliest stuff I've ever seen because you have to.

At the end of the day you are just a common follower.

Also, notice how he quotes my post but doesn't actually address a single point that he finds "silly."

Nope.

Instead he just claims that being "allies" with Nolebull813 makes me look stupid.

I would suggest that saying my posts are silly and then not being able to articulate why makes *you* look stupid.

Why?  What's the criteria for being allowed to play the Monarchs?

The CIF has the "Academy Rule" whereby no Cali team in any sport can play an OOS opponent that doesn't participate in their own state's playoffs. Therefore, teams like IMG, STM, CAI, TRU, etc who want to schedule MD are prohibited from doing so.

Not yet. It's been real tough. The CIF rejects every team that steps up.

Please elaborate and add context for the CIF 'rejecting' teams. I know teams are not permitted to play IMG. However, CIF would not block games with other legitimate programs. Makes no sense and what would be the reason?

Okay as I said in my previous post.... 'legitimate' programs. Aren't you trying to schedule games with anybody other than academies? There are plenty of real high schools out there. St Louis would have been a great game.

Prep schools like STM, Hun, Avon Old Farms, Choate, etc. are "legitimate" too. Contrary to your beliefs, there are very few "real" high schools outside of DV willing to schedule MD.

I was waiting on that elite bergen catholic roster....instead I get a bunch of bullshit. Power for the course here.

Next time if you can't back it up, don't mention it.

All this started because  there's no LA team in the top 25...

Ngl I do wish The Indiana schools didn't have that travel restriction up...

Because I'd like to see Center Grove,Carmel and Ben Davis play some hard nosed teams from outside KY and OH...

Hell do they even play the OH schools?

And If I remember correct we had a Indiana poster say that they can't host a team from over 310 miles away either?

Idk man...

That's just weird

That simply isn't true either. Louisiana has plenty of opportunities to get a team ranked in a Top 25 poll. Not an issue.

bergen catholic hasn't done shit in the last 4 years....not sure why this year would be any different. Barely beating some weak bnu teams certainly doesn't make anyone elite.

Okay if that is the case, what is the justification for CIF not permitting MD to play these teams?

Preseason Polls have always been about "selling", not DREAMS..

Sell bergen catholic.........

Your top teams are gonna get rented out by OOS teams again this year. Karr, BRC, Curtis and Newman will all fall victim and we will laugh about it for the next decade

You might be able to escape with Easton beating Floridas 80th ranked team. Maybe. I’ll give Navarre a shot
