It means that they were one of the best teams in the state.

If they are the best team then beating them should have equal value regardless of school name and location...

....all I hear from your sidecar is STA beat John Curtis and rolled to a state championship...he's mentioned it 20 times in the last 3 days like a dumbass.

I haven't seen your sidecar mention St Aug beating John Curtis once and Curtis rolling to a state championship the very same year. St Aug took 2 Louisiana losses.

St Aug LOSSES: #110 Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA) (31-28), #138 Karr [Edna] (New Orleans, LA) (33-24)

Curtis did win the "3A" state championship.

2 Curtis [John] (River Ridge, LA)   team preview   trend Louisiana 3A District 11 II 10-2 4-0 (1st) 6-0 62.1 33.7 93-48
WINS: #138 Karr [Edna] (New Orleans, LA) (38-33), #342 Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ) (24-13), #372 University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA) (32-0), #1089 Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) (40-6), #1312 East St. John (Reserve, LA) (39-7), #1886 St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) (48-0), #1886 St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) (46-13), #6801 De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) (41-7), #7878 McMain [Eleanor] (New Orleans, LA) (49-6), #9639 Lusher (New Orleans, LA) (67-8), LOSSES: #146 St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA) (29-28), #312 Aquinas [St. Thomas] (Fort Lauderdale, FL) (27-13)

Rummel would knock St Aug out of the playoffs and win the Big Boy D1 State Championship,

I never see that mentioned.......just adolescent bullshit from you and your sidecar.

I didn't say that they were the best team.

Your sidecar has implied that over and over and you support him, so you said it.

That's how it works.....you could have told him he was full of shit or wrong. You whiffed badly.

BUT, I'm not wasting more time on it today.

You continue to fundamentally misunderstand (purposefully?) what we're saying.

Again, we're not saying that John Curtis was good. We know they weren't. We're not saying "John Curtis was good, ergo, STA should get credit for beating them" while denying the same credit to St. Augustine.

We're saying that John Curtis was one of the best teams in Louisiana and they were beaten easily by a not-so-great STA (more importantly non-Louisiana) team.

St. Augustine is irrelevant to that point.

You also continue to equate a narrow 1-point win with a two touchdown shellacking.

And what's more is that I don't need to mention St. Augustine because I know for certain that you will absolutely, positively bring them up yourself.

Face the fact that having nolescum813 as an ally just makes you look stupid.

It makes you post some of the silliest stuff I've ever seen because you have to.

At the end of the day you are just a common follower.

John Curtis getting clobbered by STA and rolling to state has nothing to do with St Augustine squeaking out a one point win vs them.

Actually bringing up St Aug makes it look worse for Louisiana. Because St Aug was rated much higher in the national rankings than Aquinas, yet Aquinas beat the tar out of Curtis whereas Aug had to hold on for fear life.

Aquinas had one of their worst seasons in recent memory. Got beat by 3 Florida teams.

Aquinas beat the tar out of the Curtis and then came home to limp to 3 losses.

Curtis won their state championship and playoff games by a combined 120-6!!

So funny that Curtis scheduled Aquinas, Bergen Catholic and Plant the year they all had their worst year during their runs. He’s always been a pussy.

he cemented it when he turned down a STA rematch when STA was actually a lot better, and then cancelled out on Delray Atlantic when Atlantic actually posted Curtis on their schedule. Just to schedule the 400th best Florida team Lake Flaccid.

Darkest moment in scheduling history

All I see is Curtis squeaked out a miracle win vs a Texas team outside the top 600. Lol

Also it looks like Curtis and St Aug played a ton of garbage teams.
