I think you could kind of poll high school coaches in each state and ask them where they most hate to visit due to atmosphere or intimidation factors for their players and then compile some list from that.

Make sure to include Brookwood's HC in your poll....(Smile).

I guess the definition of hostile is relative.

Like, would it require fans to wear bullet proof vests in order to feel safe? That'd be pretty hostile for an environment.

I think in this instance the meaning would be intimidating to opponents and their fans. Maybe a particular mystique about the place even that gets into the head of the visiting teams. Idk though. Like I said it's probably relative.

I’d have to say most hostile was 2000s Paterson Eastside school,

metal defectors, national guards on street,  We had no student body section for students and the parents that actually risked making the trip, had to get a police escort and walk 3 blocks towards the field night time in Paterson NJ, because the residents blocked roads so bus couldn’t make it to field

add on

played on Astro turf so after game everyone got 2nd degree burns on arms and Legs,

if we’re talking most hostile football related and not hostile where I thought my parents were gonna be kidnapped at gun point id say 2000s Don BoSco prep in Ramsey on Friday night, knowing ur about to play a team of all Americans  who’s school water fountain was Straight Creatine, add in you gotta walk up a giant hill to the stadium at night and how the Bosco student section noise and chants carried in the Friday night sky, very very intimidating, too bad it’s not like that anymore

Lmao asshole, HBO max is free on PS4

Listen easy rider. My friends and I had to deal with these type of boxes when showtime came to our hood in the mid 70’s. Had to hit the right code to pirate all the channels.

And our porn was watch hours of scrambled signals to catch a scrambled boob! No easy flip phones for us kid! We put in work!

They really missed on the two Texas stadiums.

Allen's Concrete Palace is intimidating if you're afraid of teenagers taking selfies, or 800-member bands that never STFU.  Of course, you could get trampled by all the band parents leaving after halftime.  That's slightly intimidating.

Permian's Ratliff Stadium was indimidating at one time, but these days the most noise there comes from pickups exiting the parking lot at the end of the first quarter, or home fans booing their team's lackluster performance.  This ain't your grandpa's MOJO anymore.

Ware County is very hostile....

The Brickyard not so much...

Not anymore... Thomson needs God to come coach them...

Theyre about to go down a dark long road...

I'd go with Ware County "the swamp" for sure!!

I'd add McT when Warner Robins or Northside are on a roll, that stadium could be very loud.

I never liked going up to Baldwin for some reason.

TCC tough play to visit.

Parkview's jungle for sure, they even control the fucking lights there on Frenchie's call.

Statesboro another tough ass place to visit.

Yep!  Love rolling into Ramsey on a Friday night or better yet Saturday afternoon in October.  You hear it before you see it!  And yes I have Shannon Rose on my summer "to do" list!

I'm curious:

Which would you pick?

Rummel played in Ramsey. Certainly wasn't anything Rummel doesn't see right here in NOLA or Baton Rouge. But, I understand.

Sammy...do me a favor.  Get somebody to pay for your suntanned derriere to come down to the Hawg Pen for a Lowndes/Colquitt soiree.

It won't matter where you sit/stand.

Then...and only then...will you understand....hostile environment.

These things ain't for the meek nor faint of heart.

Gospel...
