Not only does it judge whether a law has been violated based on the evidence presented to it, but it also turns opinions, or pre-facts, into facts by the magic of proof. If Trump or his allies file a case alleging voter fraud and if the court dismisses the case for lack of standing, then we would count it as an unsuccessful lawsuit, or a loss in court. If the court dismisses Dominion's lawsuit against Powell for lack of standing, then we would count it as a loss for Dominion.
