Adam Kurkjian Posted December 3, 2016 Report Share Posted December 3, 2016 DIdn't get a chance to see the Everett game, but heard the QB, Jordan McAfee, who's a UConn commit, played real well. Obviously, so did the defense. I saw the first game between these teams and really felt Everett could have won that one. Everett has some excellent skill players. They return enough to be the top team in Mass., if not New England, next year. Even though they will lose McAfee and some linemen, they have a good backup QB (a couple, actually), and their speed on the perimeter will again be substantial. Everett will probably be No. 1 in the statewide polls at the end of the season. Duxbury rested its starters on Thanksgiving and essentially played its JV in a 53-0 loss to Marshfield.
