Lowends has a recent history of losing has a favorite in the playoffs.

In one game scenarios anything can happen. Team gets nervous. Bad coaching. All kinds of stuff. The one thing that is consistent is the field is still the same dimensions and both teams play in the same conditions. 
 

I lose what little of my mind I have left when people make excuses, but especially excuses about weather, field conditions and shit. I mean, did the field dry up for the team who won and not fo the losers? Was it 70 and sunny with no wind for the winners and a freezing downpour with hurricane winds for the losers?

The way Lowndes played this year, it seemed like they could decapitate Marietta. Especially with Marietta having lost to McEachern. Here's a fun fact: Marietta is the only team since 1999 Lowndes to not win the last 10 games of their season (including the state championship).
