So funny!

Lmao there is nobody on this board that dives into the polls more than me on a daily basis

Registered polls are garbage.

Only go by likely voter for state by state

Fuck the national polls nobody cares its the pop vote. Trump could lose California by 90 million it wouldn't matter

How so? It seems like Biden's choice to pick Harris was purely strategical. I feel like that would help his chance at a presidency instead of harming him.

That is the problem. The choice was for strategy and NOT for the best interests of the country.  Her only asset is that she can articulate smoothly in a debate and may suck in a few with her style but... She IMO is not anywhere near the best choice for VP.  We have to not overlook the fact that the Dem strategy is to get a female president as there are many who feel Biden, if elected, may not make it through a full term.

Now Susan Rice is a different story. Of all those mentioned who could competently execute the office, she is easily the best choice. Not only does she have experience but she will be able to deal with the Chinese in ways Harris has yet to learn. Interesting thing is: choosing Rice would have moved some on the fence ( with reasonable intelligence ) over to their side. Most will eventually see through the Harris veneer.

Rice has her own issues, but at least has the veneer of competence and experience.  Of the ones considered, she appeared the “most ready to be President”.  Unfortunately she never held elected office - certainly not a disqualifer - but it does help one know how to campaign etc.

Axelrod called Harris “the do no harm pick” yesterday.  Talk about damning with faint praise.  Axelrod has an excellent political antenna, and I think he is worried with Biden being too passive and safe.  He tried to warn Hillary, but they would not listen.  He fears a repeat.
