Next time you talk to propst (which I pray to God is soon), please bring this up.....how he managed to pull this one off. I'm pretty sure we'd like to know how this happened.

He'll just shrug and smirk. They come to him. The pandemic is creating an even more volatile situation for kids in certain areas. Without any nationwide criteria being followed, the spot closings and certain states pushing back while others stay on track to play etc. is definitely making an interesting situation.

Teachers still do not make enough period.

They do considering most only work nine months out of the year.

In between having spring break Thanksgiving and Christmas off that’s another month

So the yearly salary that appears to be a low number is actually pretty good when you consider they only work about eight months total out of the year

You really are the Jackass of this forum...teachers put in 12-16 hour days grading papers, paperwork out the ass, parent teacher meetings, open house, field trips, etc.,... and you have continuing education credits for certification, training, and out of pocket expenses for supplies not provided by the school. Just because Biff and Buffy are in school 6-7 hours for 180 days doesn't mean that's the only times teachers are working. And there's summer school and part time work to supplement teacher incomes... let's not forget the time put in for coaching, clubs, band, orchestra, for a stipend pittance.

They definitely have the talent and coaching to do it. But 6a has some heavy hitters this year, so it's not gonna be a walk in the park for them.

Looks like Valdosta is winning themselves a championship this season.

I feel like 6A this year is truthfully not gonna be that deep...

We got:

Valdosta

Buford

Lee County

Carrollton

Westlake...

But that's about it...

And Valdosta has Talent and a proven coach in Rush...

Westlake has Talent.... That's it...

Buford has Talent and a 2nd year coach who has proven himself as well... Bryan Appling was apart of the Original Jess Simpson staff which is why he's doing so well he reimplemented Jess's winning formula and it's working...

Lee County isn't gonna be super sharp on talent this year but they play good team ball anyway and have a proven coach.

Carrollton has Sean Calhoun... He was an assistant to Rush and he's been running the program like Rush ran  Colquitt... They are easily the 3rd biggest threat in 6A behind Valdosta and Buford...

Probably could throw Glynn Academy and Richmond Hills in there too...

Richmond Hills has been putting it together... Their HC has been reworking the entire program from middle school up... The boys of metro Savannah could be legitimate this year... But I don't see them winning state...

In his 2nd year he's done more than the school has seen in their entire history...

Glynn Academy is just always Solid and capable of making deep runs... It's like when playoffs come around they become an entirely different team...

Shouldn’t we wait to see how the rest of the transfers shake out before listing the prospective Tier 3/4 Ga teams
