TRUUUUUUU!!!!!

I think auburn had that same response after they lost to UCF

I really want to see how far that 2017 UCF team goes here. Based on how the bracket it set up, they'll sadly not make it past the second round in my opinion. But you never know! Also, this 2012 Georgia vs. 2013 Alabama seems to be a good one.

Umm didn't that bama team lose by 14 in a neutral site bowl game to Oklahoma lol

Also yes Nevada, they were a solid team that year led by Colin Kap

And true Stanford resume wasn't as good as Texas, biggest thing with Stanford was being led by senior QB Andrew Luck, him vs Sam over at Texas would have been a good game IMO

Don’t forget that UGA lost to South Carolina by almost 30 that year.

I thought the whole time there was gonna be a flag but I was cheering so hard because in the modern era no college team had won 3 straight national titles and I didn't feel that bama team was good enough to deserve that honor

Well if we want to get technical it appeared Aubie stepped out on the return.

Really? It seemed close but clear that he stayed in bounds. That Duke-Miami lateral return was inexcusable though. His knee was down, there was an illegal blindside block, etc.

I remember it being a big thing the day after.   Some claimed it was altered, but it was crazy close either way.  They reviewed it right?

Honestly, the camera angle and blurriness doesn't help. I'd like to see an angle from behind Davis's back or in front of him to be sure. And yes, all scoring plays are reviewed.

2013 Bama vs 2012 Georgia would be a great game. If it weren't for a great 2012 Bama team (one of the best teams ever under Saban), Georgia is your national champ in 2012. As I said, as competitive as some of the Bama vs Georgia games have been during Saban's time at Bama (excluding 2015... the Tide dominated that one, Bama had one of their best teams in that year too), Georgia has not been able to pull it off. Whether they had Richt or Smart, they just can't beat Bama. I'll believe it when I see it.

Also, I would to like know what makes people put 2013 Oklahoma over 2012 Texas A&M. A&M had one of the best college QB's ever playing at his best and A&M had maybe their most talented team in many years. Further, A&M beat a much better Alabama team in Tuscaloosa. OU did it in a neutral site. 2012 A&M at their peak would thump OU unless the Sugar Bowl Sooners show up. Then the game becomes a lot more competitive, but A&M still wins.

Man forgetting how crazy 2012 was in the SEC.

South Carolina, Georgia, Texas AM, LSU, Florida, Bama.

Georgia really had that schedule line up for them that year.  Yes they beat Fl but tht was the only tough win they had that year.

South Carolina had a 3 week stretch of

vs Ga W 35-7

@LSU (night game) L 21-23

@FL   L 11-41

then to finish off the season

@ Clemson (11-2) W

Florida had to play

 @A&M (11-2 beat Bama)  W

LSU  (10-3) W

@FSU  (12-2) W

UGA had

@ Auburn (0-8 in sec)

Vs Ole Miss (3-5 SEC)

GT (7-7)

Which year was that again?

2012.  That 2012 UGA team being great is inflated by their SEC championship game performance IMO.  Truth is if FL, A&M (I know they technically couldn’t), LSU,  maybe even South Carolina plays in the SEC championship odds are it would have been close that year no matter who played.

Wasn't 2012 Georgia the team that went to the SEC championship and lost when time ran out? Aaron Murray did a great job those years at UGA but really couldn't take it to the next level.

In terms of the 2013 Oklahoma-2012 Texas A&M game, I took both teams in their form at the end of the year. And to be honest, it's not much of an neutral venue when it's in New Orleans, which is still dominated by SEC fans.
