You know when I was looking at some of the older top games from the early 2000s and up to 4-5 years ago and, IMO, the defenses were just nastier back then. Maybe there was more retention before going NFL? Just seemed to me the lineman were bigger/stronger/nastier. I wasn't that impressed by the 2017 bama team to be honest UGA Should have beaten them in the national championship but they blew it, but I was very impressed with that 2016 Clemson team I also think 2018 Clemson is more than capable of winning over 2019 LSU, look at how close the LSU Bama game was and take into account that this bama team was probably one of the weakest this decade and remember how convincingly Clemson beat bama in 2018 Also Clemson 2018 was stronger on defense than this team Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
