Nolebull813
Man Carroll and Lakeland were both undefeated in 05. And took some MNC recognition. I would have loved to see them play in 06.
Wooderson
Just because there's no video evidence of Hamilton's football prowess in 2006 doesn't mean Arizona's top teams from then should go unnoticed. As I mentioned earlier Peoria Centennial won their first state championship that year, being the only school in Arizona's four largest divisions to go undefeated. Notable for the Coyotes were two-way end Alston Umuolo (#7...good tight end at San Diego State before injuries) and a very good junior class (#12 Scott Burgett went to Eastern Washington where he converted to safety after Bo Levi Mitchell transferred in, #75 Zach Schlink started as a redshirt freshman at ASU before bad knees forced him to retire, and #23 Jarrell Barbour was a four star recruit out of high school that was derailed by eligibility issues). Including highlights from games against probably their top three opponents...Mountain View was the 5A-1 runner-up to Hamilton that year, Sunnyside's only other losses were to Mountain View and 4A-1 runner-up Sabino, and Peoria had a couple guys end up ASU with decent careers. Going to share Saguaro highlights from that year as well.
Wooderson
Saguaro would win their first title in 11 years in 2006. Top performers were #2 Shane Anderson (the rare deep threat/short-yardage back combo; he would head to Nevada after graduation) and #13 Max Tabach (averaged 20-yards per catch, had 16 picks, and would emerge as a good collegiate player at ASU after spending a year in juco to develop physically. Quarterback Tim Ruben would become Arizona's first-ever single season 2K rusher/passer during his senior season in 2007, and #28 Beau Burton would be a three year starter for Saguaro before playing for Utah.

I think Lakeland's 4 wins by 4 points or less disqualifies them from #1. They're top 4-5 for sure though. Agree with this. Warren Central was lights out that year, it would've been nice to see them play a top tier Ohio team that year

Their free safety went to UF but transferred back home because of family issues. Jeremy Finch and he brought the noise.
