That will be determined by the county. Some counties are worse then others currently.
Ararar
Now the question becomes how many of the 4-5* kids are going to play.Kids want to enroll early to get a head start.Do they risk an injury that close to college? It will be interesting

It will be interesting IMO the biggest thing that matters regarding that is when the PAC-12 plays football. California feeds the pac so if they don’t play until the spring either I think the majority of kids will stay. The ones committed to other conferences could probably leave. The whole idea of enrolling early is to get a head start in the program, if CFB isn’t played until the spring then the benefit of enrolling early is gone. Why not play your senior year and save your eligibility? USC & UCLA not having students on campus for classes is not a good sign for football in the fall, Alabama game cancellation too. I think the PAC-12 will move the season or at least delay it. If none of that happens, what an incredible opportunity for the high schools to develop the young guys into the next group of 4/5 stars. Sammyswordsman
Nor Cal jumps at the chance to avoid losing another SBG game. Let's call it the DLS rule (since Folsom won't win their section this year) https://cifns.prestosports.com/announcements/NSCIF_Fall_Athletics_2020_Press_Release.pdf
ngdawg
Honestly, I don't see a point to moving the season. This virus is only going to get worse, and by the time football will be played, it will be out of control, forcing all those states to cancel for the year. This, in my opinion, is false hope. It would be better to just play it right now and get it over with, than delay and eventually cancel. To me, cancellation is inevitable. I would think it would be an added benefit to early enroll during football season or at least the same difference ... If the season is played In January, big if as it is. Why wouldn’t a senior want to play their senior season. Instead of early enrolling and possibly watching CFB being played at the same time why not just play. If you are referring to Folsom's section, I would have to go with Something something trail I most definitely wasn't referring to the irrelevant northern section. I wanted your inside knowledge on the SJS. Something Something Trail's best player just signed to USC. They'll be a good team. Oak Ridge has a lot of hype this season. I'm going to pull a sammy here and make it known - 2023. This Folsom class is loaded. Once we get some more transfers Folsom will be top 5 in the state again. Mark my words.
