ngdawg
I'm thinking about putting together a bracket with the best teams from this past decade in Georgia high school football. What teams would you like to see included? They can be of any classification, but they must be very good, since only 64 teams will make it over 10 years. When recommending, please give the school and the year, along with any information you would want me to know about that team.
ngdawg
By default, all 7A state champions will be included. For every other classification below 7A, not all state champions may be included. If you believe that there is any 7A state champion that should not be included, feel free to let me know. 954gator
2015 CC 2014 CC 2016 Grayson 2012 Norcross 2011 Grayson 2019 Marietta 2010 Brookwood 2017 NG 2013 Norcross 2018 Milton Looking at past large class Ga state champs since 2010 here's how I'd rank them. I'm a Fl guy so I'm no expert and a lot of these could be argued (especially where Marietta falls). How far am I off?

I'll have to do some research, especially on the older teams, but this list looks pretty good.
ngdawg
Any other non-state championship teams that you guys think should be included? I definitely have 2018 Colquitt and 2017 Lowndes on that list, as well as 2019 Lowndes.
HooverOutlaw
Best I saw 2015 Colquitt, 2016 Grayson, 2014 Colquitt. 1

Hope people end up participating, because I'd like to see who'd win it all.

Talk about that regulation finish...wow. Can't imagine what that would have felt like watching in real-time. Reminded me oddly of the Saints-Vikings finish (Minneapolis Miracle). Archer had some strong teams those years too. There were a lot of teams that passed the eye test that’s for sure.

Now looking back, 2017 was a very strong year as well. Lots of 1 or 2 loss teams, like it was in 2016. One thing I learned while doing research for the bracket was that Georgia football is getting much better yearly. Archer is a deceptive team. Some years they're like Wisconsin Badgers, and some years they're actually legitimate.
