FootballGuy
While we're on the subject of covid and masks, how's it going out there? @Las Vegas_JC Are people following the new rule or is it being met with resistance?

Hope that you and your family are doing well! This pandemic is just too much man. Any way as of last midnight 2/26 our governor has mandated that everyone has to wear a mask while out to any store or any casino. It does not matter if the location is either public or private. Fortunately my family is well stocked with N95 masks, wipes and sanitizer. We comply with the law because IMO it’s really not asking for much. Wearing a mask for half an hour while shopping for groceries might not be the most comfortable experience but if it helps to eradicate Covid I’m all for it. I just came back from a Smiths grocery store and I would estimate that about 90% of the other shoppers were wearing masks as well. Stay safe.

If I'm not mistaken, NY has the highest COVID-19 related mortality rate of any state in the country. Had, not has. The NY nursing home mortality rate along with the overall infection rate here has gone down drastically. Furthermore unlike the clown in the oval office and his red state cronies, Cuomo was man enough to acknowledge and show remorse for the nursing home tragedy. 1

Hopefully this doesn't lead to more cancellations.

Were the ones who didn't wear masks refused entry into the store?

There is a security guard posted up at the only store entrance but the store was nearly empty at the time so I did not notice how those without masks were treated. Who knows maybe they took off their masks once inside. 🤷🏻♂️ It’s going to take some time to condition those stubborn ones. 1

We're advised to wear masks to reduce this shit but you still have people who refuse to follow instructions. May God bless the brain dead I guess...

The islands currently have a low rate of infection and of deaths. If their teams stay on the islands they could play a “regular” season.
