It has a substantial section on battleground states (about 25% of the document if memory serves).

So a substantial section of a non-fivethirtyeight site has battleground polls that fivethirtyeight doesn't list?

Fascinating.

Irrelevant to your claim but fascinating.

Just now, The Guru said:

I've been talking about both.

Everybody knows that the only person trying to deflect is you.

You made a claim that was a false. and now you're just continuing the charade.

The truth is clear to anybody who looks.

Look Andy, beating you like a $2 hooker this morning is already old.

In summary:

1) Andy says nobody but NYU hippies in a drum circle are talking about eliminating the police.

2) And takes a shot at conservatives for being crazy for bringing it up.

3) Liberal whack jobs running Minneapolis get a veto-proof majority together and vow to do it. They even send out a public statement that talks about it, including the phrase "police-free future".

4) Andy looks like the jackass that he is.

5) Next day, Andy accuses folks of lying about what the liberal whack jobs in Minneapolis PUT OUT IN A FUCKING PUBLIC STATEMENT. 🤣

6) Andy tries to deflect from the above humiliation by stupidly bringing up yet another humiliation he recently brought upon himself.

7) Andy should seek professional help.

So, Andy, as you'll no doubt want to obsessively self-abuse yourself by going on and on and on and on about the above, please just refer to this post as you longingly await my replies that don't happen.

Every time you read it, just pretend it's just like that magical first time.

Jackass.  🤣

In summary, even the people who put out public statements (because we all know that public statements have never been for the sake of pandering, right?) aren't going to "get rid" of the police.

I bet that Donald Trump has even put out a public statement of compassion and unity once.

Means nothing.

concha is the same guy who ignores everything Trump says about Russia and instead implores us to only look at his actions! Like the sanctions he imposed!

Suddenly he's all about pandering public statements in the heat of a social movement.

I'm sure he'll look good in 6 months or a year when Minneapolis still has a police department of some kind to serve and protect the people of Minneapolis.

Right?

💩

One of these whack jobs was asked by CNN about who people call if their home is broken into. The nitwit starts blathering about that applies to people of privilege blah blah blah...

Fucking insane.

One whack job, yes.

Still waiting for a "significant" number of people.

But what I'll get instead is concha flipping out about one or two or 10 people saying wacky things and pretending that it's a significant movement within liberal politics.

Remember when the Democrats were going to confiscate 401ks in 2008?

https://www.factcheck.org/2008/11/iras-401ks-and-you/

"Son, I remember when 401ks used to exist. Not anymore, obviously, because of the great Democratic takeover of 2008. We warned everybody but they didn't listen!"

How the fuck does @HawgGoneIt and @PrepGridiron  continue to allow your racist piece of shit posts to go on.  Even more so, how have you not gotten the hammer???????

Well, I think we've tried to stay pretty hands off back here on the OT section as it relates to content from a moderator stand point. If we moderate a little, we assume liability for a lot.

If the content is reported through the proper system and we have the chance to review it as a reported content and compare it to the listed guidelines for the site, then perhaps if it's breaking a guideline we can start some action in one way or another.

While we may have personal opinions about specific members or content they present, from a site moderation stand point, we have to be objective.

According to some, defunding/disbanding the police is hardly being discussed at all.

Sure 🤡

Clown emojis are so appropriate for your posts.

Again, the actual people in the only city in America to even talk about this don't even want to "get rid" of the police.

Minneapolis Will Dismantle Its Police Force, Council Members Pledge

Council members said in interviews on Sunday that they did not yet have specific plans to announce for what a new public safety system for the city would look like. They promised to develop plans by working with the community, and said they would draw on past studies, consent decrees and reforms to policing across the nation and the world.

Protesters’ cries to defund or abolish the police are often not meant literally. Rather, they are demands to rethink a law enforcement system from the ground up and to grapple with deeply ingrained issues, including employing officers who do not live in the city they police — as is done in Minneapolis — and sending armed officers to respond to situations that turn out not to be crimes, as when a mentally ill person is in distress.

Council members and activists pointed to examples of different styles of policing in places like Austin, Texas, where the operators who answer 911 calls inquire whether a caller needs police, fire or mental health services before dispatching a response, and in Eugene, Ore., where a medic and a crisis worker with mental health training are dispatched to emergency calls.

Councilman Jeremiah Ellison, who represents North Minneapolis, said he would not frame what the Council was doing as defunding the police, but rather as “funding a different safety strategy.”

He said: “Is the goal to execute some kind of vendetta against M.P.D? No.”

But I had no idea that Austin, Texas got rid of it's police department.

Here's at least one. No doubt many more will follow.

Via The Star Tribune:

A Minneapolis manufacturing company has decided to leave the city, with the company’s owner saying he can’t trust public officials who allowed his plant to burn during the recent riots. The move will cost the city about 50 jobs.

The Star Tribune obtained the Minneapolis’ survey of property damage which revealed 1,000 commercial properties were damaged, including 52 businesses that were totally destroyed by rioters — the total cost of the damage is estimated at $500 million.

You can picture those on the left who hate the police, reject God and want to take away our ability to defend ourselves hearing a CRASH in the middle of the night... and someone entering their home.

What do they do?

As fast as they can they call 9-1-1 and scream for a good guy with a gun to get there as soon as possible.

And then they find God and pray that the cop gets there in time.

YouGov Poll Finds Only 16% Americans Want to ‘Defund the Police’; 65% Oppose

Despite calls by activists and protesters to defund police departments, most Americans do not support reducing law enforcement budgets. Close to two-thirds (65%) oppose cutting police force funding. Just 16 percent of Democrats and 15 percent of Republicans support that idea.
