Washington Post poll:  48% job approval for President Trump. No wonder you want his Wuhan virus updates stopped.

That’s not that good.  (It would probably improve if he shut up) We are in a crisis, this should be much higher.  Pres Bush was in 80-90% approval during 9/11

Yes a date does need to be talked about. Americans want to know there is light at the end of this fucking tunnel. If you just listen to the media every fucking body is going to die.

Americans want hope. Unless you're a DemoRAT

The media has not said everyone is going to die, nor have I heard anyone say they want to prolong this so they can bash Trump as you have claimed numerous times. Two very childish things to be suggesting. And throw in your DemoRAT word. You are really behaving like a little kid. At least you don't give a fuck, as you always say. You want to behave like a little kid, and you will! So there! Right?

He only brought confusion and anxiety.  It’s why it’s in the news so much and Fauci needed to come behind him and talk about it and bring reason to the outlook.

I haven’t read anything in my news sources (AP, NPR) that we are all going to die.

Not according to 60% of Americans.

From CNN- When President Donald Trump said he hopes to have Americans back at work by Easter, he was making an "aspirational projection," said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Once again, we have Fauci there to clean up his mess.  Let Fauci run with it and be the spokesperson

Trump said the same thing during his update

He didn’t say it was an “aspirational projection”.  He mumbled about our economy isn’t built to be shut down and that the cure shouldn’t be more than the problem.

at that stage though, Fauci couldn’t put the toothpaste back into the tube, he tried to clean it up as much as possible.  It shouldn’t have been said at all this early.

To an honest person the previous 7 years of growth and unemployment trends would, too.

But you were telling us how terrible everything was when, in reality, Trump just inherited a strong economy and passed a trillion dollar tax cut that netted a whole .2% in average GDP growth.

Nobody here thinks you're honest. Even your fellow travelers. That's how boldly dishonest you are in plain sight.

Really?

Average growth was tepid. About 2%.

And the jobs weren't necessarily much to write home about for much of it anyway... this from mid 2013...

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/low-paying-jobs_n_3266737

Nearly all of the 6.2 million jobs created since the job market first started its historically lousy recovery in the spring of 2010 (nearly a full year after the recession ended) have been in the private services sector, according to RBS. And of the roughly 160,000 jobs per month created in that sector, about 80,000 of them have been “low-paying,” according to RBS. “High-paying” and “average-paying” jobs account for about 40,000 jobs each, according to RBS.

...

Making matters worse, the percentage of people working part-time is still higher than it was before the recession, RBS points out — nearly 19 percent of all workers, compared with 16.5 percent before the recession.

...

The RBS study echoes several others in recent years, including a National Employment Law Project study from August that found three-fifths of jobs created since the recession have been low-paying, roughly matching the number of middle-income jobs that were lost. About a third of working families in the U.S., representing about 47 million people, are in low-wage jobs today, according to the Working Poor Families Project.

Average growth was tepid. About 2%.

And 2.3% in just his second term.

It was 2.5% in Trump's three years.

One is "weak" and other is "prospering."

This is precisely why you're labeled a liar.

You use bullshit stats and then when exposed on it you try to wiggle out by nibbling around the margins to claim that economies that were practically the same or simply inherited were "weak" and "prospering."

I love this graph too because it illustrates a simple point that people like concha either don't understand of purposefully ignore.

averageannualgrowth-1.png

Notice the trend line? Annual growth between 2% and 3% is the new normal at least for the time being.

Trump spent a trillion dollars and averaged 2.5% and this was after promising 4%, 5% and even 6% growth.

It was a bullshit lie when he said it and it's a lie now when concha claims that growth like that should be expected.

Trumps economic numbers have exposed concha, once again, as an economic buffoon.

President Deals chose to listen to CEO's and billionaires over public health officials and governors in both parties.  Now he's attacking GM because his deal fell apart.

This is the cost of chaotic leadership in a crisis:

  • Last week:  Trump said he invoked the DPA, then said he didn't.
  • 2 Days Ago: He said he didn't need to invoke the DPA
  • Yesterday: We may have too many ventilators
  • Today: OMG OPEN A PLANT!  MAKE VENTILATORS NOW!

Again, Andy...

"Weak" is YOUR word.

It is better under Trump.

Unemployment is better. (U3)  Dropped much faster than the 12+ months prior to inauguration to record low and natural unemployment territory now. 1.7M+ fewer unemployed.

Employment numbers are better.  6.6M+ more people working.

Underemployment way down (U6).  Was dropping slowly prior to Trump's inauguration and dropped much more rapidly under Trump to the lowest levels seen this century.

You are shockingly full of shit.

U3 is bullshit?

U6 is bullshit?

Total employed and unemployed are bullshit?

Improved GDP growth is bullshit?

Care to discuss the increased wage growth for our lowest income earners?

Workers at the lower end of the pay scale finally are getting the most benefit from rising wages

So you read the spin of an anti Trump reporter. I watched the President. Believe what you want.

Trump never said it was an aspirational projection.  That’s not in his vocabulary.

but onto the real milestones!  I’m sure you’ll be joining me in congratulating the House for passing this much needed bill to our hurting countrymen. Everything is not about djt and his feelings and sensibilities .

I am impressed that he didn't refer to the CEO of GM as Mary B(M). Props to Trump.
