247Sports Composite ranking: No. 146 overall player | No. 5 pro-style QB | No. 16 player in California

Evaluation: Has physical upside with a slender frame that can add weight. Can make all of the throws. Can easily throw downfield, but also chips away with shorter and intermediate throws. Father played in Pac-10 and NFL. High football IQ with incredible poise and pocket awareness. Is a pure pocket passer, who throws with timing and great anticipation. Extremely polished. Projects as multi-year Power 5 starter and as a late second-day pick/early third-day pick in the NFL draft. - Brandon Huffman

Butterfield has already enrolled at Oregon for the spring semester.

9. HAYNES KING

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 130 overall player | No. 5 dual-threat QB | No. 19 player in Texas

Evaluation:Long-framed, athletic quarterback with true dual-threat ability. Grew two inches from sophomore to junior year. Lean, sinewy build, but terrific frame space and big hands. Outstanding athlete who runs the 400, the 4x400 relay, and throws the discus. Also plays basketball. Flashes big-play top-end speed in the read game. Perhaps at his best throwing on the run. Very accurate on the move and throws with impressive touch. Has shown terrific ball placement even when throwing across body on the run. Extends plays with his athleticism. Plays with calm, poised demeanor. Coach's kid with high football IQ. Fierce competitor. Dangerous on the run but will stand in the pocket and deliver under duress if required. Shows above-average arm strength, but can improve overall throwing power - which should come with further development and physical maturity. Must continue to add bulk to fill out frame and improve overall strength. Displays excellent knack for varying arm angles as needed, but needs to quicken release and shorten delivery. Highly productive dual-threat QB with great physical traits and huge production for a Texas Class 6A D-II state title team as a junior. Definite P5-caliber starter with early-round NFL Draft potential. - Gabe Brooks

King has already enrolled at Texas A&M for the spring semester.

8. ETHAN GARBERS

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 120 overall player | No. 4 pro-style QB | No. 12 player in California

Evaluation: With Garbers, it’s so much more then the numbers that stood out about him. His toughness, poise and leadership was off the charts all year and in tight games, you saw him step up and make clutch plays to win games. We liked Garbers following his junior year but he made a big jump as a senior. We liked him at The Opening Finals over the summer but he made a jump even since then. His arm strength, accuracy and athleticism all were noticeably improved and his game can take another jump in college when he gets in a full time strength program and adds some good weight and mass to his frame. - Greg Biggins

Garbers signed with Washington during the Early Signing Period in December.

7. HARRISON BAILEY

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 98 overall player | No. 3 pro-style QB | No. 15 player in Georgia

Evaluation:Tall with prototypical size. Has actually trimmed down some from his sophomore season. A polished pocket passer with sound mechanics. Well coached in terms of technique and has a consistent delivery. Has the ability to drive the ball downfield and shows good touch and ball location. Has posted good passing numbers against top competition in Georgia. Able to distribute to all levels of the field. Looks to be best suited in an offense with a run game that allows him to target big wide receivers downfield off of play action. Doesn't provide a run threat and needs to keep improving his mobility and feet in order to be able to evade the rush. Projects as a likely Power 5 starter with an all-league ceiling should he continue to progress. Should be a third-day NFL draft selection. - Charles Power

Bailey has already enrolled at Tennessee for the spring semester.

6. LUKE DOTY

Title/Alt Text(Photo: Ross Martin | CarolinaBlue, 247Sports)

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 85 overall player | No. 4 dual-threat QB | No. 2 player in South Carolina

Evaluation: Athletic build with muscle mass and no bad weight. Has more than adequate height for the position and has increased his lower body mass and strength in recent years. One of the more athletic signal caller in the 2020 class, owning the best athletic testing numbers at the position entering the 2019 offseason. An explosive athlete who saw his first extended time as a starter in the 2018 season. A legitimate dual threat with a solid mechanical foundation as a passer. Throws a tight, clean ball which leads to consistent accuracy and ball location. Displays accuracy and touch to all levels of the field, excelling in red zone touch throws. Has the ability to develop into one of the nation’s more dangerous runners at the position with outstanding top end speed and a long stride. Has the ability to pull away from defenders. Led his team to a state championship in his first year as a full-time starter with a dominant playoff run. Has the reputation of a top competitor with a high energy level. Can continue to improve arm strength and an aggressive mentality in anticipatory throws and driving the ball with veolcity downfield. Has the upside of developing into more of a run threat in addition to increasing creativity in off-script situations, given his natural tools. Projects as a high level Power 5 starting quarterback with the upside of developing into a NFL Draft pick. - Charles Power

Doty has already enrolled at South Carolina for the spring semester.

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 73 overall player | No. 3 dual-threat QB | No. 10 player in Texas

Evaluation:Powerfully built, athletic, rocked up athlete. High school quarterback that is good enough to play quarterback effectively in college. Athletic traits offer more upside at other positions, most notably on defense as a safety or linebacker. Usually looks like the best player on the field in Texas’ highest classification. Has outstanding competitive temperament. Shows feel and patience as a runner finding holes and creating big plays. Will finish runs with toughness. Lack of experience playing other positions creates significant unknown to his transition. Likely hybrid linebacker that should be able to parlay quarterback instincts into playmaking ability on the next level. Too talented to not become an impact power five talent at some position with early to mid-round NFL Draft upside. - Barton Simmons

Jackson signed with the Texas Longhorns during the Early Signing Period in December.

4. HUDSON CARD

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 57 overall player | No. 2 dual-threat QB | No. 7 player in Texas

Evaluation:Thin-framed signal caller who possesses adequate height. Will need to pack on considerable weight at the next level. Spent his sophomore year at wide receiver as he plays for arguably the top quarterback-producing high school program in the nation. One of the better athletes among quarterbacks in the 2020 cycle with above average long speed and very good quickness and short area explosion. Was highly productive in his junior season - his first as a starter. Flashes creativity and the ability to make plays both from in and outside of structure. An accurate passer from within the pocket. Shows nice touch and ball location on downfield throws. Uses his athleticism to escape the rush and make off-platform throws and pick up big chunks on the ground. Needs to continue developing from a physical standpoint, but is one of the more well-rounded quarterback prospects in the 2020 cycle. Projects as a Power 5 starter with the upside of developing into a NFL draft pick. - Charles Power

Card has already enrolled at Texas for the spring semester.

3. CJ STROUD

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 41 overall player | No. 2 pro-style QB | No. 4 player in California

Evaluation:Stroud has a solid frame and will have no problem packing on good weight and filling out when he gets to college. He has one of the strongest arms in the country, a smooth, tight release and shows the athleticism to make plays outside the pocket. He throws the deep ball with touch and accuracy, plays with poise and calmness in the pocket and is only scratching the surface of how good he can be. He’s a late bloomer, and his junior year was his first as a starting varsity quarterback. He’s a two-sport athlete and is a talented basketball player. Once he can focus on just football in college, his game should take off to another level. Projects as an impact upper tier Power 5 starter and future mid-to-high round NFL draft pick. - Greg Biggins

Stroud signed with Ohio State during the Early Signing Period in December.

2. DJ UIAGALELEI

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 10 overall player | No. 1 pro-style QB | No. 3 player in California

Evaluation:Big, strong armed quarterback with generational arm strength. Has a big frame but looks lean and is well put together. Has one of the strongest arms in recent memory and has won ‘long ball’ contests with a throw of 80+ yards. Is much more than a big arm. Shows great touch, accuracy to all three levels of the field and greet natural feel for throwing the football. Understands when to take a little off, throws with anticipation and is a plus athlete as well. Has the ability to run zone read and is a very good runner in the open field. Can buy time and is accurate throwing down the field rolling out to his right or his left. Natural leader and a great teammate who is also a potential high round draft pick in Major League Baseball. Can still improve going through progressions and finding secondary receivers as well as escaping pressure. Upside is off the charts. Projects as a impact upper tier Power 5 starter and future early NFL draft pick. - Greg Biggins

1. BRYCE YOUNG

247Sports Composite ranking: No. 2 overall player | No. 1 dual-threat QB | No. 1 player in California

Evaluation:Has a slight frame and needs to bulk up and add some size and strength. Holds the ball low, which can make his release elongated, but he gets the ball out extremely quick to compensate. Has a live arm and is able to throw just as well outside the pocket as he does from inside. His ability to escape pressure and extend plays is as good as you’ll see at the high school level. Will scramble to make a play with his arm more than taking off and running, although he does have the ability to run for plus yards. Almost looks more comfortable when the play breaks down and he can improvise and make a play with his instincts. Plays with a poise and savvy beyond his years. Never looks flustered or nervous in the pocket. Has improved his touch and accuracy on the deep ball, but it’s an area we think he can continue to get better. Has an advanced feel in the pocket and is excellent going through progressions and finding his secondary targets. Has an extremely high football IQ and will have no problem picking up a complex college playbook. Is a natural leader, a winner and the guy you want leading your team on a last-minute drive. - Greg Biggins

Young has already enrolled at Alabama for the spring semester.
