I didn't tally in Milliani's FIVE losses to the totals in SJBs OOS opponents' records.

Talk about a gauntlet? Do you really have to arrange 5 OOS games to take on opponents with 22 losses? Stay in the neighborhood for that next time 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡.

Indeed. The polls are now officially on record that a high SOS trumps an unblemished record. Let's see if the scheduling tendencies of some change due to this new phenomena.

We just showed you that they don't have a strong SOS, as their marquee opponents shared TWENTY-TWO losses.

The California logic (or lack thereof) is thick on this board. Almost like TDS.

We really don't even need to respond to you since a Calif team is the unanimous MNC.  The mainstream polls (by virtue of the final polls) think you are the deranged one.

But go ahead and make your case for a better MNC

Your argument makes no sense. 5 of those losses came from SJB themselves. Then two of those teams played each other (Liberty and Mililani which Mililani won and liberty ended the season winning the state championship ) then you have GC and DM who played each other and GC lost but ended the year winning the championship.

@181pl has deteriorated into a Lazy poster.  Can't be bothered to peel back the data to even the second level.  This is why he has been referred back to his local boards for a refresher.  We hope to see a much better effort from him, by next season.

This proves that all of sammy's work (and other propagandists) does, indeed, pay off.

They've repeated their talking points for long enough that pollsters and the general public have started to buy it.

These teams don't actually have to have an impossible schedule. All they have to do is claim that they do.

Correct.  Which is why I never argued that STA was a small market team.  They are not.

Then what 16-0 small market team are you claiming is demanding a national championship?

Too many guys on here want to reward 16-0 small market teams with MNC

@whiteshoes top 100 is littered with small market teams placed way above their pay grade.

Right and that hasn't changed for the major polls, either.

So all that we got this year was a change in the standard for determining #1. All of the small market 16-0 teams are still getting rewarded with high rankings.

A big market 15-0 team got screwed and nothing else changed.

Not necessarily.  The major polls are moving in the right direction pertaining to #1.  SOS is carrying much more weight.  While STA did indeed play a Large Market schedule, SJB (by virtue of playing MD twice, and avenging the loss) was apparently given the edge.

In my very humble opinion, STA could help themselves by  doing (3) of the following.

1. Schedule one relevant OOS home game (preferably get lucky by playing a future state champ)

2. Schedule one relevant OOS away game (preferably get lucky by playing a future state champ)

3. Schedule IMG

4.  Schedule SFA
