Find one of the really good teams in Texas and come show us how you play between the lines. You can afford to play in Hawaii (please) spend that private school money to come here - All the money spent will be well worth the experience . Don’t even ask to be paid. You know what's funny about this?.......Texas whines about not winning the MNC and we all know they don't win it because they don't schedule enough OS games. Then they come back and say well we are public schools that can't afford the travel costs like the privates. Which makes no sense what so ever due to the fact that they have enough money to build all those multi-million dollar stadiums, that hold over 10,000 people and they claim every game is sold out. Please.....you have the means to travel. We have won I fare share off bogus titles over the years. Stadiums are built with bond money voted on by the individual communities and added to their property taxes. Texans have supported every big OOS game ever played here. People in Texas just like to show up and watch 3rd party schools plays for state championships. There's nothing inherently good or bad about it. In all my years of this Earth, I think I've attended 4 state championships that I wasn't party to: Two in Orlando (when Roger was at University School) and two in Miami when it was super close to home.
