His style of offense wasted more talent and lost more games with talent than anyone in the nation. He's gone because of it. And hiring Ed Orgeron is the solution to those problems? You're like those idiots who think that Donald Trump is the perfect guy to drain the swamp of corruption and graft in Washington.

But not everybody can fix it. Least of which among those people is Ed Orgeron.
Nolebull813
Just like McElwain at Florida, Orgeron will ride the coat tails of a good defense that recruits go to no matter who the coach is. Both suck and Orgeron was 10-24 at Ole Miss. He is a good recruiter and asst coach at best

I'd actually take that bet but Les Miles won 10 games 7 times and 9 games twice more. That's not exactly the most difficult thing in the world to do. The prime stat here is 0-2. His record against Alabama and Florida. And now he'll have to go to Gainesville two years in a row.

Orgeron is just a retread, career assistant who got the job because he's a fat cajun like all of their fans. Read what Caj said. It's basically what the average fan would be saying. He 'gets it', he loves LSU, he's from Louisiana. Not a single qualification to be the head coach of a major program.

He could possibly finish 6-2 with a bowl win this year. We lose a couple, but bring back a loaded roster with more coming in. Miles, would have and then some. Let him take his brand of football to Purdue or Houston. You are the only one upset.

Nolebull813
Yeah I said it before as well. This is the worst hire for a major elite program that I have seen in a while. There are only a handful of "5 Star Programs" in the country. LSU is one of them. Places like that, Texas, USC, Ohio State, Oklahoma, FSU, Alabama etc are considered 5 star prestige schools All those Schools should get their pick of the litter. Anyone they want basically. If a team like Wyoming hired Orgeron it would be a down grade. Lol. Worst hire in a quarter century

TheRealCAJ
Les Miles, might be the only head coach in college football history to get dominated by a team that didn't score ONE TD. Auburn 18 LSU

You going back to 2005 to try to prove a 2016/2017 point is absurd even for you. The game has changed, situations have changed and coaching attitudes have changed to say the least. Just because LOSer was stupid in 2005 doesn't mean he is in 2016. Wait, you may have a point.

An Alabama win would have been nice, but NO ONE has played them tougher or will. That't why they are #1 O, played Alabama tough every year at Ole Miss when Ole Miss was Miami like. Post those scores for the class. Florida was a fluke. Left 20 or more points on the field. LSU was a better team the moment Miles hit the door and will be better in 2017. I already mentioned that the only time he has ever won anything is when he inherited talented teams midseason. Guess what? He's not the interim coach anymore. It's his team going forward. He's responsible for everything. The last time that happened? 10-25.
