Reb72
Mozilla will not let me connect to the site any more, gives me "secure connection failed" message... right now I'm on using Explorer (but I hate Explorer)

Maybe there was some change in the system. Try clearing your cache and cookies. It sounds cliche but it does help sometimes.
Reb72
will do, Thanks!
Reb72
didn't help, this is the entire message I get: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.prepgridiron.com. The OCSP server suggests trying again later. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_TRY_SERVER_LATER The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
HawgGoneIt
I hope that fixes it. I'm not certain how Mozilla/Firefox works, but often, chrome uses the cached site to connect which is saving bandwidth for the servers. I assume they all work that way, and then if there is a system change, the cache connection is broken.
PrepGridiron
I just added a secure connection, which like Hawgoneit mentioned is preferred. I'll look into the issue as well, but the https connection is better and I wanted it for all of us. See if you can clear your cache and try again. Really would prefer to keep the site secured.
HawgGoneIt
Well... so much for my last message. I did notice there was a change in the system. Not sure where it originated. I guess Prep will have to check into it.
HawgGoneIt
Well now we know where it originated also. I do appreciate the HTTPS connection. Often the lack of that (S) causes my browser security to give warnings etc. I think this was what was going on at the old place with NOR and his security he mentioned as well. Not sure why the new connection being secured would lock out the Mozilla browser though. I'm going to go to the Mozilla site and see if they have any info there that will be helpful.

PrepGridiron
Ok, this does seem to be a problem. I'm going to have support see if they can address this. For the time being, I found this workaround which works: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1120024 Note that the workaround bypasses a layer of security that Firefox puts in place requiring a server to send a certificate of validity itself.
