Bormio
Watson has been far from perfect, but is the driving force behind Clemson. It is his to lose.
ATLien12x
I like Deshaun Watson, but not enough to win the Heisman. Not many moments- I say give it to Lamar Jackson. I think Adoree Jackson should be mentioned- I think Jalen Hurts should be mentioned- I think the Texas running back should be mentioned. Mjd33
See I think Lamar is out. ESP after goal line fumble today. Hurts is climbing. Browning had good day yesterday. Watson balling out tonight. Jt Barrett had big win today but his stats this season arent great. I Think its wide open.
Mjd33
If watson balls out in acc title game And they win I like his chances.
NYfan
I think Adoree Jackson should be a top 3 candidate, but he has gotten beaten on a solid amount of TDs this year. He makes up for it with his big play ability, but he isn't enough of a lockdown coverage man to win it
Bormio
Browning has no name recognition- I bet half the voters don't know he plays QB for Washington.
I AM IRONMAN
Regardless, the HT winner will do very little to nothing at the next level

I see plenty of people talking about "team" loses when referencing the Heisman which is an individual honor. Granted the better the team the more exposure. But still think the W/L factor is way overvalued. My GOAT Heisman is Barry Sanders. "He" lost the only two big games he played in (Neb and OU) en route to the hardware!
American Male
The Heisman is given to the BEST Player, or the one that MEANS the MOST to his team...Where would Louisville be without Lamar Jackson!?!?!?

Mjd33
Adoree jackson is a flat out stud but he's not winning the heisman.

The Heisman is not a "most valuable" award. It is supposed to go to the best player in CFB. People who think that Jackson has played better than Watson all year long are smoking something funny. TheMaximumHornetSting
I think that L to Pittsburgh hurts Deshaun. And Lamar took an L he shouldnt have to UK so no.... Honestly I think Jake Browning has been overlooked... And before I catch Bull shit... lets be real He and JT Barrett have been as good as anyone else.

Browning has been on point every game except for the USC game, where UW called a terrible game offensively. They abandoned the run way too early. Bodysurf
Jackson has been the best individual player this season... this is not even debatable. If the award goes to the best player then it is a no-brainer. Problem is that other factors like team success come into consideration. Stanford has has two Heisman trophies stolen from them by Alabama running backs. Stanford had a great season in both instances.
