I think tomorrow I'll trend down to the fishmonger, see whether he's got any fresh trout for sale.

We caught a lot of fish(trout) and rock bass, but, they were mostly all just short. 15 inches long and only one per man over 20 inches is the slot limit rule and we caught 20 or more apiece that were 14 inches. Lots of catch and release. Fun though. Back to work tomorrow. Yep. You guessed it. Trending down. Haha 1

How is Georgia trending DOWN, when the fifth ranked team in FLAAAWDA and #32 in the country, beat the ninth rank team in Georgia, #74 in the country? We CURRENTLY have TWO in the USA TODAY TOP TWENTY FIVE! And Archer belongs there as well! Rabid squirrels are trending down.

On the flip side, without you in it, NorCal is trending up. Take it easy on Belly, he's a jokester who likes to kid around. Without him and others like him this site would be boring as hell. NorCal may be trending up, but CalPreps is still trending down.

Our minimum is 18"... ..which really sux cause they are all about 12" -16" and that's a good eatin' fish. They give you a limit? Our Trending down limit is 3.....only 2 in IBSP by me.... fish size must be trending down....

Our Trending down limit is 3.....only 2 in IBSP by me.... fish size must be trending down.... Speckled Trout slot limit is 5 fish, 15 to 20 inches with one of the 5 fish allowed to be over 20. Flounder limit is 12 inches here. That one was 12.5. I started to put it back but they're so good fried up. You can also keep 10 flounder per fisherman. The rock bass on the right was also over 10 which is the legal size limit for them. Any keeper sized flounder is never trending down.

Agreed 100% realized your decking was 6", but with all this downtrending….😄 However you will trend down also if you call a FLUKE a summer flounder... BTW: you'd swear our game control was run by the NFL....only being able to fish the momma doormats is bass ackwards. Over 90% of the fish taken in tournies and such (where they can actually get the data) are the big female breeders...just dumb. NJ beaurocrats logic trending down... BTW: I like the 'slot rule' you guys have with just one OVER a limit...seems like a way better solution than here...

We've never called them "summer flounder" or "fluke". They've always been just "flounder" to us as long as I've fished the salt. Probably since I was 5 or 6. Maybe a southern thing. Idk. A lot of the slot limits and number limits seem too strict to me, but, I deal with it. The only time I've ever seen flounder over 18", they were gigged at night. I caught a 17" one time on light tackle out of 40 years fishing.

If you like Big Claws then Maine is the place for you then, but I guess my point was not to overlook a nice reef dive in the Caribbean or anything...🤔 Otherwise it's just a long rope or pack a drysuit with not much underwater to see or talk about. It's all good, just did not want you to fall for a stereotype or anything...👍 Just don't be afraid to 'trend down' south a bit further, for warm free swim water...
