I was at all those games except Miramar vs. Desoto and MC vs. Madison, MNW vs. SLC and Plant vs. Abilene

But I saw STA vs Skyline @ AT&T as well as Skyline vs. Cocoa, Cocoa vs. Abilene @ Desoto and I saw Venice vs. Plano East in Plano and Viera vs. Allen in Allen.  And I saw Chaminade Madonna vs. Lee in Tyler back in the Day with a Storm on the horizon for that one.  I have seen a lot of Fl. vs. Tx Live.

I was at Venice vs Plano with Texas Frog -  We went the next day to see Stephenville play that Florida school too

I was also at CM vs Tyler Lee game -  In fact I was on the sideline for that game -  I was on the sideline for every East Texas Classic game vs Out of state competition.   Wylie when they played the CA school and my favorite was when Gilmer beat Bishop Gorman.

That was one bad ass Gilmer team and they got beat in the first round vs Liberty Eylau - who had even better rb than did Gilmer lol

Yes and 3 of those Gilmer kids made it on NFL Rosters.  That was a talented team and yep L.E. did beat them.  Wylie played Mira Mesa from San Diego.  I was a Drill Instructor in San Diego when that game was played.  I wish the Beast Texas classic would have kept inviting OOS teams.

You know another fast Texas Football player from back in the day was Curtis Dickey and Herkie Walls too from Garland who was around my age. .  I took off today and the Redskin and I went Riding on the Bike He was in HS when I was in Jr. High but I remember him and he went to A&M.  Both of those  dudes were world class elite in T&F

Herkie was a Longhorn as well.

Both are legends in this state...

You remember the Horace brothers from Groveton?

How about Jimmy Shelby from Itlay Hs?  dude was damn good track start too.

Edwin Simmons from Hawkins Beast TX  IMHO - This guy was one bad dude coming out of HS - came from small school didn't get all the attention.  He was on the level with the very best RB's including Bo Jackson and H Walker - Before he had all the knee injuries this dude was incredible .  As true freshman in 1983 he was listed as 6'4" 226 lbs and he could do it all and was extremely fast.  before he could even step on the field for TX in 1983 he started having knee issue - by the end of the year he under went the knife 4 times.

Texasball I come from a Track Family from my Uncle winning the 2A 100yd Dash in the 1965 PVIL championships and his daughter going to State with Atlanta as  Soph she ran a 12.24 100m and led her team to State with 3 freshman they finished 8th in 2011  but then she quite track and was a top 20 in Texas in the 100m.  My 1st Cousin ran for the 200m Finals (Girls 200m) and my cousin from Atlanta that was one of the best ever from Texas regardless of class in the 400m and 4X400  We have 3 State Champions in the family.  Pretty awesome

Remember this Longhorn when at the time this was an old 1A School and still holds the record for that class now 2A 100m State record that is ridiculous.

Bro you were correct about Bullis @ the New Balance Nationals.  Though they didn't run against Desoto they DId beat the Tx 6A Champ the Girls of Mesquite are the same 4 that ran a 44.94 for Mesquite Horn to win 6A Desoto finished 3rd. Also the 5A runner ups from Mansfleld sent 4 girls with only the 3rd leg different and Bullis beat them as well in the finals and their B team beat them.  Neither of the Texas squads ran like they did in State.  But Bullis smoked them both

Bullis has some fast kids right now...They was actually top seed after the prelims at the Texas relays Div 2 girls (top division)

Then in the finals something happened and they did not finish

Bullis girls was 21st after prelims in 4x200

They took 2nd in the finals of the 4x400 behind Desoto

I believe Desoto girls are going to run some incredible times at or before state...Watch for a big 4x400 mark this year.

Athletic Net - did not honor the Bullis time at the New Balance nationals -  This was not the same girls the ran with all year.  This was their Track club -  At the New Balance nationals 2 of the 4 girls already turned 20 years old.

They Honored the 45.92 that they ran on April 15th as their best High school time -  This team had Hall, Harris, Phillips, Postell

The team that ran 44.88 at the new balance was - Russell, Seymour, Hall, Phillips - 2 of these girls had already turned 20 years old prior to this event.

The Bullis team had 2 girls 20 years old - that ran HS track the same year - and this event was only in June.--- Jesus that is older than the 2 boy sprinters Barnes and the 400 sprinter from FL that Golf and have discussed.

Bottom line they stacked both teams for the new balance with other girls - They split their normal school team -  two ran on the so called "A" team and two ran on the so called "B" team.

Guys until someone can prove me wrong - I have lost all respect for Bullis Track team

Girls 4x100 ages  - This year these girls are listed with the 2nd best time in the nation 45.72

Russell - she was already 18 last June - she is likely 19 already

Seymour - she was already 18 last June - she is likely 19 already

Leonard - she was 19 last June - she is likely 20 already

Leah Phillips was 20 damn years old last June.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The girls from Mesquite who ran at the new balance with last year

was 19, 17, 17, 17  and 3 of the 4 was sr's and graduated in may.  Hell, the Bullis girls are old last year and still running

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bullis is holding kids back - not just one or two - the entire freaking team.  -  I can't stand that kinda shit in sports.

I am sorry - I can't respect that and if they break any major records - It will be shame.

Redzone - never heard of teams getting better and better as the season goes.

Tell me more.

College Station gave up almost 400 points last year including 60 to TAPP St Pius X.

Ever hear of people talking shit on the internet?

Look, run with your little track times, guy.

It amuses me. If Louisiana does something great in trackt I'll drop a mention.

Later.

http://www.milesplit.com/articles/231206/bullis-girls-set-national-and-world-junior-records-in-4x200

Article listed Hall and Phillips as sophs.    Hall is 16 and Phillips not sure of age but as a soph she's likely not 19.

Masai Russell is a 17 year old senior who turns 18 in June and Seymour is listed as a birthdate of 1999, so she is either 18 or turned 19 early this year.

The Arcadia Invitational winners for the 4x100 and 4x200 were:  Phillipps (soph), Russell (17) and Seymour  (18 or 19)

Sierra Leonard was the 4th girl in the 4x100 and her DOB is 2001, so she's 16 or 17

Lauryn Harris was the 4th girl in the 4x200 and I see no info on her  (based on stats, she's a junior but a school tweet listed her as 2018 class)  No idea on her age but I'm assuming she's not 20.

They are for sure legit as far as I can tell here and their 44.88 time last year is listed as the #1 2017 girls 4x100 on Milesplit.

"Impressively, Bullis became just one of three teams nationally this year to go under 45 seconds in the 4x100, setting a new US No. 1 mark of 44.88 seconds, which was just shy of the national record of 44.50 that was set by Long Beach Poly in 2004. "

4x100 team: Masai Russell, Leah Phillips, Shaniya Hall, Ashley Seymour

Russell DOB is June 2000 (17),  Phillips is a soph this year, so in this race she finished 9th grade,  Hall's DOB is Oct. 2001 (16) and Seymour's birth year is 1999, so at most she was 18 years of age in this race and possibly 17.

If Seymour was 17, they would have been an U18 group in this race.  At the most, one of 4 was 18 years of age.  I see nothing wrong here.

@golfaddict1

I looked up the teams and in fact Mesquite ran with all 4 members of the 6A Girls 4X100 State Champs and they finished 5th at the NB.  Almost a full second slower than their season's best of 44.94 they were one of the 3 under 45 last year and Mansfield was the 5A 4x100 Girls runner's up and they had only the 3rd leg different and finished 7th.  Bullis beat each with their A & B squads. I would say that is one helluva group of Girls. They were at the Texas Relays in 2017 but screwed up.

Here are the Results and that same group from Mesquite won it.  Bullis DNF'd.  That was stacked Relay.  Mesquite ran slower than this at the NB Finals.  Bullis had the fastest prelims time.  Leah Phillps ran in place of Shaniya Hall in the Finals and the legs were switched up as well.
