Upon adding a curve to account for Texas’ 25% higher population, Florida would have 21 4x400 meter teams under 3:20. @TXMileSplit @flrunners #SlightWork Let the above sink in

Maybe some "elites" will be added today or tomorrow. Later..... Just for the record - West Feliciana is currently tied for 17th nationally 4x100 nobody that I know has ever taken anything away from LA. Lb for lb one of the best states. population is not the only factor in Texas - our state is producing at the highest level if population accounted for the best results - Cali would be killing it! DevilDog
Yeah I don't think Texas would be dominated by Jamaica. We are not VA, PA and MD Western Branch, VA would not even made it to State with a 41.45 and that is fast for sure. Though that would have gotten them 8th place in 5A for State. golfaddict1
The Bullis, MD girls relay squad is going to send Buford off the 4x100 girls lead soon enough.... they are loaded! They beat Jamaican squads with stellar indoor relay times this past winter. How's this for depth... notice the time of their 'B' squad in this race from last summer. ... and another Sydney flashback treat lol. She grabs the baton in 6th out of 8th place on the anchor leg here. Watch around 18 seconds or so period where you see the leaders sprinting across the back straightaway and Sydney isn't even in the picture yet. Just look for the bright shorts and enjoy. Kids and even pros react differently when they know there are other elite performers in races with them.

Last year 5A in Texas was awesome in the 4X100. I agree 41.45 is moving anywhere anytime in HS. I Just wish Tx and Fl were able to send teams to this event. But here we are in the final stretch of Track. The Texas Finals in 5A and 6A were all elite performers they wouldn't have reacted any different with Western Branch joining them.
