Texasball Posted April 30, 2017 Report Share Posted April 30, 2017 When looking at multiple meet results I noticed that a lot of athletes ran faster with less wind at their back For example Keishawn Everly from Ft Worth Trimble Tech ran 10.25 with 3.9 wind then in the finals ran 10.36 with 5.2 wind in this particular meet just about every single athlete ran slower with more wind. Maybe the temp had something more to do with it. State points vs a possible 4x100 national record... if only Walton didn't qualify for the 100 (100/200/400/4x400) Relay could have been: Wind legal #9 (10.45), #16 (10.50), #22 Walton (10.54), #138 (10.81)... on paper that's faster than Calabar, Jamaica (sub 39 this year, 39 flat at Penn Relays). Schwartz will of course compete in elite events after the school year. Maybe Campbell (who received a GA track offer) but I doubt it.
