Three of those guys born in 2000 and the fourth in October 1999. Crazy. Someone teach them to play football in Jamaica and they'll be a rich country,

Thanks for the info.  They have run sub 39 in Jamaica this year.  They've had 19 yr olds on that squad in the past so nice to see this crop is 18 or under.

We have 19 year olds running in this country as well.  If they aren't breaking any rules, I say who cares.

Post grad kids are an * imo (assuming 19 at Calabar is Post grad).  It's an all star elite squad as it is... they don't need to add 19 yr olds too.  But it is what it is like the IMG national lax squad.  Hey at least 1 US school ran a sub 41... Calabar didn't beat them by 2 seconds. :)

When looking at multiple meet results I noticed that a lot of athletes ran faster with less wind at their back

For example Keishawn Everly from Ft Worth Trimble Tech ran 10.25 with 3.9 wind then in the finals ran 10.36 with 5.2 wind

in this particular meet just about every single athlete ran slower with more wind.

Maybe the temp had something more to do with it.  It got pretty chilly later in the day yesterday in the upper half of Texas - at my house in got down in the 50's

Temps probably played a big role in the times going up.

Just for a little info to the non Florida guys. Checkout what Miramar High, in Broward County close to the Dade County line, has for speed :

FHSAA -  4A Region 4 Championship - April 27, 2017

100m - 1. T. Horn (11)     10.29

             2. T. Banks (10)  10.34

             4. J. Walton (11)  10.47

200m-   1. J Walton (11)   20.70

             2. T. Horn (11)     21.12

             3. T. Banks (10)   21.14

400m-   1. J. Walton (11)  45.70

4x100m-1. Miramar High  40.63

Like some of the Miami schools (Norland, Northwestern) or the Ft Lauderdale one's (AH-P, STA) these guys "too"  can run with anybody in the country

All Florida Regional results 1A-4A can be found at FHSAA ,Sports, Track & Field, Results

Walton didn't even run with the 40.63...

State points vs a possible 4x100 national record...  if only Walton didn't qualify for the 100 :( (100/200/400/4x400)

Relay could have been: Wind legal  #9 (10.45), #16  (10.50), #22 Walton (10.54), #138 (10.81)... on paper that's faster than Calabar, Jamaica (sub 39 this year, 39 flat at Penn Relays). Would have been nice to see that roster go full tilt and challenge 40 ticks and possibly the national record.

FL states this weekend at IMG's facility.

live results which finish up tomorrow

FL states this weekend at IMG's facility.

MNW girls wasted no time cranking out a 4x100 prelims national lead time of 45.20... while AHP (43.08 on 2 dropped batons) and STA boys (DQ) didn't make the finals in their respective class 4x100 relays.

live results which finish up tomorrow

I believe so.  Schwartz will of course compete in elite events after the school year.  Maybe Campbell (who received a GA track offer) but I doubt it.  The kids running track will join the football practices next week.
