golfaddict1
Javelin Guidry 10.34 yesterday. Number 2 wind legal behind Schwartz. He will likely win states in TX and CA back to back (Cedar Park TX to Vista Murrieta DB and Utah signee).

Texasball
I just noticed Cedar Hill boys ran 40.67 4x100 relay moving them firmly in the national top 10 and they beat Desoto in this event to win the district title. Desoto actually ran their best time of the year with 40.76 Duncanville girls also ran 45.97 4x100 moving them into the national top 10 in this event. They still finished 2 in district behind Desoto girls who ran 45.67 which is not their best time of the year.

954gator
Texasball tell me about this kid Caleb Byrnes. Says he's in 9th grade, and he ran a national #1 13.00 110m hurdles? It's his only time listed in that event that I can find. That would be crazy if in his first HS 110m hurdles event this kid runs a national #1! What's the word?? 954gator
Also another kid listed at 13.0 (ran in the same event as Byrnes above). This one sounds fishy as it is no where near his other times ran prior. Mistake? https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Athlete.aspx?AID=10721941#/L0

There was 5 kids from around the country listed at 13.00 flat - they should have these bogus times removed pretty soon

Texasball
Port Arthur Memorial checks in with the US #2 4x100 - going 40.51 at the district meet. That makes 7 teams from TX who have ran under 41 flat this year. I found out that Cedar Hills time at the district meet was not FAT timing and will not be included in the rankings. They did beat Desoto in that meet for the district title in that event. We will see how they do in the area meet this coming week. Area meet will surely have fully automated timing!
